IN RE: City Council Order 120-N -- Change from Residence "C" Zone
and Park and Institutional Zone to General Business Zones
a portion of land on the northeast corner of Dillingham
Street and Main Street.
Sirs
Please be advised that the City Planning Board has held a
Public Hearing and given careful consideration to the above request
and respectfully recommend City Council's approval.
The Board felt that as the proposed uses a filling stations
would face directly on Main Street and be of a considerable lower
grade than the surrounding residential properties, that such a de-
velopment could take place without harm to the neighboring landse
and would provide a suitable use for the property.
Respectfully submitted,
Walter A. G. Snook
Planning Director
