WHEREAS the City of Bangor is the wholesale and retail business center
of Eastern Maine, and
WHEREAS a continuous flow of individuals into the City from far and
near is the lifeblood of business and of the City, and
WHEREAS the City of Bangor is proud that its Municipal Auditorium,
with seating capacity of 1,500, is the second largest auditorium in New
England
Ii IS NON DECLARED to be the policy of the City of Bangor fully to
,realize the maximum potential of the Municipal Auditorium as o magnet for
business by so operating it as to attract great audiences through the
encouragement of its use as a location for innumerable cultural and sporting
events and as the convention center for Northern and Eastern New England.
