RRBDLVRD.
WHEREAS, in the death of William S. Hill, Bangor has lost an esteemed
citizen
AM WHERAS he served as a valued member of the Bangor City Council
for the years 1943, 1944 and 1945, and in other ways showed laudable civic
pride and a sense of responsibility toward his fellow man;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Bangor City Council keenly
regrets this loss to the community and, at this its first meeting since
that distressing occurrence, direct$ its City Manager to extend to the
widow and family, in behalf and in the name of the City of Bangor, an ex-
pression of deep sorrow and concern at his passing, and an assertion of
the genuine respect in which he was held in his community.
