(TITLE.) Mrber, --_widening Began_ Road_ Right. -or -way-
By the City Counau of W City of Bemoan:
ORDERED,
THAT , WHEREAS, the new Interstate Highway has been completed
throug(i-Bangor and,

^' WHEREAS, an interehange has been constructed at Hogan Road
to provide access to and from this Interstate Highway and
WHEREAS, the section of Hogan Road between the Interstate
Highway and Mount Rope Avenue has been constructed by the State
s part of the access road program and,
WHEREAS, the section of Hogan Road between the Interstate
Highway and Stillwater Avenue is in very poor condition and is to
be rebuilt by the City of Bangor and
VIHEREAS, the existing right-of-way of Hogan Road between
the Interstate Highway and Stillwater Avenue is only three rode, or
491 feet wide and,
WHEREAS, a minimum of four rods, or 66 feet, is required
to provide sufficient width to properly rebuild this section of
roadway, now therefore, it is hereby
ORDERED, that the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of
the municipal officers, is hereby directed to lay out said Bogen
Road 66 feet wide from the existing Interstate Highway right -Cf -way
northerly to Stillwater Avenue, a distance of about 2,000 feet and
be it further
ORDERID, that said City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of
said municipal officers, proceed to give written notice of such in-
tentions of said municipal officers by posting notices Tors even
days in two public places in the City of Bangor and in the vicinity
of the proposed widening, more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point formed by the intersection of the
westerly side line of Bogan Road as now laid out and the
southerly side line of Stillwater Avenue; thence aoutherly by
and along the westerly side line of Hogan Road to the north-
erly line of Interstate Highway 895 right-of-way, a distance
— of about 1978 feet and 161 feet wide measured westarl"
right angles free the existing westerly side line of said
Rosen Road. The above described parcel contains 34,126
square feet, or 0.783 acres, and crosses land now or formerly
owned by John Davis and land owned by Hugh Davis and the
City Engineer. is further
ORDERED to make a written return of said proceedings eon-
taining bounds and ad -measurements of the new layout together with
alist of damages allowed to each person for all land taken or for
any benefits accruing to the property owners as a result of said
laying out.
