ORDERED, THAT, WHEREAS, the State Highway Commission is planning the reconstruction of the Bangor -Brewer Bridge including a portion of Washington Street and, WHEREAS, there is insufficient width on the north side of Washington Street at the and of the bridge for a sidewalk, now therefore, It is hereby ORDERED, that the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of the municipal officers of the City of Bangor, Is hereby directed to lay out land for the proposed widening of Washington Street as shown on Maine State Highway Commission Plan SRC File N 10-149 Sheet 1 of 1, State Highway "43". ORD&RED, that the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of said municipal officers, proceed to give Written notice of such intention of said municipal officers, by posting notices for seven days in two public places in the City of Bangor end in the vicinity of the pro- posed land taking more Tully described as follows; Beginning at a granite monument on the north side of Washington Street, said point being 102.9 feet east of the easterly side line of Pine Street; thence east along the northerly side line of Wash- Ington Street a distance of about 35 feet; thence West on a curve having a radius of 300 feet a distance of about 103 feet more or less to the northerly aide line of Washington Street; thence east along the northerly side line of Washington Street a distance of 35 feet more or less to the point of beginning. The above described parcel contains approximately 150 square feet and crosses land now or formerly owned by R. B. Donning Company and Tidewater 011 Company and be it further ORDERED, that the City Engineer make a Written return of said proceedings containing bounds and ad -measurements of the new layout together with a list of damages allowed to each person for all land taken or for any benefits to the property owners as a result of said laying out, said report and desorlptlon to become a part of this order.
