THAT the deed from the State of Maine by the Std Military Defense
Commission to the City of Bangor dated November 1, 1961, of property
located on Main Street in said Bangor, be and is hereby accepted. A copy
of this deed is attached hereto.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRES E NT S,
That the State Of Maine, by the State Military Defense Commission, an agency of
the State of Maine acting for and in its behalf and in pursuance of the authority
conferred upon it by Chapter 4 of the Resolves of State of Maine, 1961, in consid-
eration of one dollar and other valuable consideration, paid by the Inhabitants of
the City of Bangor, a body corporate, located at Bangor in the County of Penebocot
and State of Maine, the receipt whereof it does hereby acknowledge, dose hereby
remise, release, bargain, sell and convey and fx,rever quit -claim unto the said
Inhabitants of the City of Bangor, its successors am assigns forever, all the right,
title and interest of the State of Maine in and to a certain lot or parcel of land
situated on the northwesterly side of Main Stroet in said Bangor, boomed and
described as follows:
Beginning at a bolt in the northwesterly line of Main Street at a point
one hundred two and sixty-seven one hundreduhs. (102.67) feet northeasterly
of the intersection o£ the northeasterly line of Dillingham Street with said
line of Main Street, measured o said line of Main Street, said point being
also the corner of a lotof land owned by Springer Realty Company thence
northwesterly parallel with said line of Dillingham Street and along the
ling of said Springer Realty Company lot one hundred and twenty-five (125)
feet to a stake. thence northeasterly parallel with said line of Main Street
sixty-five (65) feet to a point; thence southeasterly parallel with the first
described line one hundred and twenty-five (125) feet to a point in the
northwesterly line of Main Street; thence southwesterly on ane by said line
of Main Street sixty-five (65) fest to the point of beginning.
Being a part of the acme premises conveyed to the State of Maine by the City of
Bangor by deed dated October 28, 1931 and recorded in Penobscot County
Registry of Deeds, Vol. 1052, Page 494.
To HAVE Aim TO HOLD the some, together with all the privileges and appurtenances
thereunto belonging, to it, the said Inhabitants of the City of Bangor, its
Successors and Assigns forever.
AM the said Grantor does covenant with the said Inhabitants of the City of
Bangor, its Successors and Assigns, that the State of Maine will Warrant and
Forever Defend the premises to it, the said grantee, its Successors and Assigns
forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons claiming by, through
or under the State of Maine.

IN WITNESS WHEREGF, the State of Maine, acting by and through the State Military
Defense Commission, an agency of said State authorized as aforesaid, has caused
this instrument to be sealed with the seal of the State of Maine and signed in its
name and behalf by John H. Read, Edwin W. Heywood, Wayne C. Smith, Herbert M. Brawn,
Alexander McNichol, A. E. Holden, and Everett Wing, being all the members of said
Commission, thereunto duly authorized, this first day of November in the year one
thousand nine hundred and sixty-one.
