Maine be and are hereby repealed and replaced gith the following: Sec. 5 Plumbic¢ Inspector. More is hereby authorized and established the position of Plumbing Inspector. The Plumbing Inspector shall be appointed by the City Manager. subject to confiraatlon by the City Council. and shall hold office during the pleasure of the appointing power. This position shall be included in the Personnel Classification and Compensation Plan for the City of Bangor. $.1 Alternate Plumbine Inspector, An alternate Plumbing Inspector shall be appointed by the City Manager: subject to confirmation by the City Council, and shall hold office during the pleasure of the appointing power. Note: The City Solicitor hes ruled that there is an inconsistency between the Charter aM the Ordinances; relative to the above appointmentrand he has further ruled that hefeels the Charter controls in this instance and has therefore submitted this Ordinance amendment to make the Ordinance consistent with the Charter.
