ORDER, Authorising Release Beed frms City of Bangor to Nosh 1. Edminster Of Hudson, Massachusetts. By the City Council of the City of Bangor: ORLERFK, THAT the City Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to execute the release deed, hereto attached, to Noah I. gAninster of Hudson, Hassachosetts. There is to be no monetary consideration paid for this deed, since this deed is given to clear a olood on title. KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT City of Bangor, a municipal corporation located in Penobscot County, State of Maine, in consideration of one dollar ($1.00) and other valuable considerations paid by Noah I. Edminster, foraerly of said Bangor, now of Hudson, Comsomealth oP Massachusetts, the receipt whereof Is hereby acknowledged, do hereby r®Sse, release, sell and forever quit -claire, unto the said Noah I. Rdminster, his ---------------------------- heirs and assigns forever, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon closeted in said Bangor and banded and dssoribed in accordance with the description in deed hereinafter referred to, as follows: "A certain lot of land situated in said Bangor, beginning on the Hagan Read so called (which leads from the Stillwater Avenue to the river road to Orono) on the easterly side thereof at a paint six (6) feat southerly at a atone post in the angle of said Hogan Road; thence easterly and running close to the house on said premises, so as to leave the house on the three acres hereby conveyed to land of Joseph P. Wdthee; thence southerly on the dividing line between Lather Davis land and land of said Withee to a point so that a line drawn herefeom and parallel to first baud and Line above named to said Hogan Road shall give Ar Pwom three acres of land; thence westerly from said point last named and parallel to first 66-M - 2 line to said Hogan Road; thence an said road to the first bound." Being a portion of the same premiaee oomeyed to Noah I. Edminster by Mary A. Powers by deed dated May 19. 1951 and recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Book 1337, Page 215. (See below *) Meaning and intending by this deed to release all right, title and interest, if any, the City of Bangor may have by virtue of any Tax Liens, " particularly Tax Dead in favor of the City of Bangor, dated August 20, 1894, and recorded in said Registry in Vol. 644, Page 374, To Have and to Hold the above released promises, with all the privileges and eppurtertances thereof, to the said Noah I. Edminster, his heirs and assigns forever. In Witness Nherecf, the said City of Bangor has caused in its some this Instrument to be signed and its corporate seal to be hereunto affixed by Ralph L. Waymouth, its Treasurer, duly authorized by vote of the City Council of the City of Bangor at its regular meeting duly called and held on the 11th day of January, 1960, this day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixty.
