ORDERED,
THAT the attached report of the City Engineer be and is
hereby accepted and that the City Treasurer be and hereby is
authorized to make payment of damages to Moriaeette Warshoueees
Inc. in the mount of thirty dollars 330) per month to the
owners of the land described in the attached report for the period
that this land is ocoupled as described in amid report.

To: The Municipal Officers
Pursuant to Council order #229-M, passed October lo. 1960
directing the City Engineer to lay out land to be used for a new
approach road and approach fills along Valley Avenue and for
easements to 1®d to be used during the construction of the new
Morse bridge over Nenduekeag Stroma In Bangor and for which a
written report was submitted on a portion of the requirements
under Council order #253-M, dated November 14. 1960, the follow -
Sng report 1e submitted:
Parcel #3 Easement Only
Beginning at a point formed by the intersection of the
westerly side line of Harlow Street and the northerly aide line
of property now owned by Moriesette Warehouses._Inc.; thence
southwesterly along the property line of said Moriesette Ware-
houses, Inc. for a distance of about 45 feet; tfience southerly
along the side line of an existing stone retaining wall to the
edge of a brick building and frame structure known as the "sash
mill", a distance of about 50 feet; thence easterly along the
exterior face of said "sash mill" building to the westerly side
line of Harlow Sreet, a distance of about 47 feet; thence north
Orly along the westerly aide line of said Harlow Street to the
point of beginning, a distance of about 72 feet and containing
2,448 square feet.
The above described arae to be need for the storage of
materials that are to be incorporated in the new bridge con-
struction and for access to the wooden bridge when this bridge
is moved to the temporary location and used to carry traffic
around the new construction.
The period of use to start November 15, 1960 and to con-
tinue until the new construction has been completed, a period
of approximately one year,
It is recommended that damages in the amount of thirty
dollars ($30) per month be paid to the owners of the land for
the period this land is occupied as above described, this
Payment to be made monthly on the 15th day of each month
commencing November 15. 1960 and continuing until the bridge
construction has been completed at which time the easement
will become null and void,
