ORDERED,
THAT the following Resolve be forwarded to the 101st Legislature
for passage:
"WHEREAS Lillian Watson was employed as a Policewman by the City
of Bangor on January 4, 1944, at the age of 49 under the circmestances which
required special services of a full-time policewoman, and
WHEREAS, she has worked diligently until July 8, 1961, as a full-
time policewoman, at which time she was dawned to be ovdr the age of 65 a
requiring compulsory retirement of any policemen, patrolman, watchman, or
keeper of the City of Bangor under P 6 SL 1933, Chapter 92, Section I'

NON TpER@'ORB, be it resolved that state the work of said Lillian
Watson was of such a unique and necessary nature, she being the only full -
tire policewoman in the history of the City of Bangor, it 3e hereby expressly
stated that the provisions of said P S SL 1933, Chapter 92, Section I, shall
not be demmed to apply to said Lillian Watson.
