Cross, Chairman City Council of Bangor Bangor, Maine Dear Sir The Federal -Aid Highway Act of 1954 In part refers to Federal -Aid Secmuiary projects as follows: - and the projects for construction shall be selected by the State Highway Department and the appropriate local officials in cooperation with each other". In order, to program projects for future construction under the 1954 Secondary Hoad Plan a uritten statement is required indicating that the selec- tion of these projects was mule in cooperation with the appropriate local officials.
