RESOLVED, WHEREAS, the City of Bangor has committed itself to make
available to its employees the benefits of the State Retirement System, and
WHEREAS, the State Retirement System provides that employees in excess
of 70 years of age must be retired unless special provisions are made, and
WHEREAS, William Doucette, an employee of the Public Works Department,
Bangor, Maine is in excess of 70 years of age and is in good physical condition
and most capable of performing his duties,
NOW, THEREFOR£, BE IT RESOLVED that in view of Mr. Doucette's many
years of faithful and conscientious service to the City of Bangor, the request
of Mr. Doucette that he not be retired at age 70 be and hereby is granted, and
that the Trustees of the State Retirement System be advised that Mm Doucette
is being retained.
