No ether re enation or congensatory time should be allowed for these classifications. ue It is recommended that a Police Captain, when assigned to the Detective Division, be assigned to the corresponding step in the next higher range than Captain. 4lnen assigned to the Traffic Division, it isa ended that the in=ebent be assigned to the corresponding step in thesecond higher range. At the present time, the City of Hanger has found it feasible to operate many of Its departments ona 3721 -hour basic work, week. The ranges of pay which a recommended for the classifications concerned are based on a standard 40 -how work week. If in the future, municipal officials deem it necessary to return to a 40 -hour work week, it is recommended that no adjustment in pay be made as the present policy is such to the benefit of the employees.
