After careful study sad some Inquiries follow:,ng, proposal is given for your consideration. There is no prospects of obtaining a permanent traffic guide at corner of Fourteenth Street and Hammond. Therefore, for the . tection of the chiidren,ve suggest that those children living •t of Henmond Street, (ie. Ham'mnd5 Norway, ®Rver, Aoutel'.e, and Fairmount Park sector, etc., ) that would normally cross Hammond Fourteenth Street, walk up to the 'Phlrteenth Street Crossing where i:re I& a traffic guide, They would than have an option of walking .k1len Street to Fourteenth or crossing from Tti:•teenth to ',rteenth Street through the Fairmount School lot. In actual distance, the Allen Street approach is a bit, longer, the students would enjoy sidewalks and avoid the mod that lingers ween the two schools. This whole program is involving some increase walking distance, but with our children's safety uta stake. it seems fc ost negligible. ,b \ Fleanc instruct your child to follow ane, f, %T rontee._ \ / T _h on U lin i, PA F : CI V rin„ 1"-h 32'sY.a c' s Or m E ! fe /SY
