Moody SUBJECT: ENTERPRISE FUND--STATE/FEDERAL GRANTS DATE: June 7, 1989 Division 72-05: Adult Basic Education (ABE) The ABE grant pays for approximately 55% of the cost of operating The Learning Center at 121 York Street. Approximately 470 people are served. Basis for calculation: Based on application and State appropriation for ABE Amount anticipated for 1989-90: $21,732 (estimated) Amount to be expended: $21,732 (estimated) Cost per pupil: $46 Will costs exceed grant amount?: No Division 72-12: Homeless Grant Provides literacy training and skill remediation to homeless adults from January 1, 1989 to September 30, 1990.
