ORDERED, THAT , WHEREAS, the Maine Department of Transportation 1n 1981 laid out and established a new 100 -foot right-afway for Hogan Road extending approxi- mately ]Do feet southeasterly from Stillwater Avenue; and WHEREAS, said right-of-way resulted in a major realignment of the original Rogan flood right-of-way as originally laid out and established as a public way on Sept eabe[ 16, 1853; and WHEREAS, said realigned right-of-way has resulted in the abandonment Of a triangular portion of the original Hagan Egad right -a£ -way on the northeasterly side, which is no longer required for street purposes; and WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the Springer Realty Company of Bangor, who own the land abutting a portion of said abandoned right -of -may requesting the discontinuance of said abandoned right-of-way, since it encumbers late within a pending commercial subdivision on their property; and WHEREAS, said abandoned fight -of -way will not be required for any future .public highway need; NOW, THEREEDHE, Be It ORDERED, THAT the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of the municipal officers according to the provisions of 23 H.R.S.A., 4 3026, be and hereby is ordered to discontinue a portion of the arigiml Rogan Road right-afway, more fully described as foliose: Beginning at a point on the northeasterly right-of-way line of Hagan Road s laid out by the Haine Department of Transportation in January of 1981 at right angles to a point on the centerline of said Hagan Road located six hundred eleven and seventy-one one hundredths (611.71) feet southeast from the southeasterly right-of-way line of Stillwater Avenue, said point of beginning being at the intersection of said MOT right-of-way line with the originalnortheasterly right-of-way line of Hogan Headas laid out and accepted by the City of Bangor on September 16, 1853; thence North 8` 42' 47.6" West along said original right-of-way line of Hogan Road for a distance of one hundred forty-eight (148) it ' ' Title, AN[xiv}q tle n.rmn...�=rff a�atio� [£ tle fmwi Is�iAs3 R.i[J�t <f I� mM 2' SYil.losla ...................................
