Subject, Sanitary Sewer Extension
Bear Mrs. Sullivan:
This letter is written to request an extension of the 043in Read sanitary
sewer system. An extension Of approximately 750 feet is required to serve Our
proposed community center.
The Apostolic Lighthouse Church plans to build a community center on the
easterly side of Odlin Bond near the interstate overpass.
The facility will
be constructed i rtwo o three stages with the first Chase scheduled for
construction in 1989 and 1990. The initial stageists of a pre-engineered
building system containing about 20.000 sf of space. The basement space and
the main floor level will he furnished to serve as
a day Ca enter, business
meeting/convention r religious services, and so forth. e The Cost of the
first phase is expected to be in the vicinity of one million dollars.
Site plan information will be submitted in the next few weeks for Site Plan
Review procedures by the code enforcement office end the Planning Board.
Hopefully site plan revise processes can be completed by the first of June and
construction can begin by the first of July.
The availability of a public sanitary sewer system certainly would be
beneficial t0 the Apostolic Lighthouse Community Center. Preliminary design
work for an -site wastewater disposal system has been accomplished for the
proposed facility. Although it is feasible to install an on-site wastewater
disposal system to accommodate demands from the initial building complex/ the
disposal system will be rather massive and relatively expensive. Expansion of

the disposal system would he limited, if not impossible. Therefore, funds for
sanitary waste disposal would be =at appropriately applied toward an
extension of the municipal sewer system rather than installation of an on-site
system.
M extension of the Odlin Road sanitary sewer system should benefit other land
owners n this also. Hopefully a extension of this Sanitarysewer
system can be approved. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Years truly,
Charles Hurst, Pastor
Apostolic Lighthouse Church
