STAT@18NT OF PACT: Hildreth Street North was originally constructed and established a a public way for a distance of 1.000 feet in 1961, at which time additional right-af-may was dedicated for future extension. The roadway was extended northerly for an additional distance of 1.150 feet in 1972 but the official acceptance of the extended right-of-way as a public way was overlooked. n" - Order extends the right-of-way to conform to the present terminus of the constfiucted roadway. And that the said City Engineer met at the time and place of meeting speaided he Me nofleas and proceeded to IV wt and establish the xtevefov of Hildreth Street North as follows: -1- 09-133 Beginning at a point on the westerly right-of-way line of said Hildreth Street North at its northerly terminus located 1,000 feet north from the northerly right-of-way line of Hammond Street, as laid out and established by the City Council on April 10, 1961, and as more fully shown on a Plan entitled "Plan and Profile, Laying Out and Grade of Hildreth Street North" dated February 24, 1961, Plan No. R-751, on file in the City Engineer's Office; thence along a northerly projection of said westerly right-of-way line of Hildreth Street North for a distance of one thousand one hundred fifty (1,150) feet to a point; thence easterly at right angles to the last described line for a distance of ninety-five (95) feet to a point' thence 1n a southerly direction along a line parallel to and ninety-five (95) feet easterly from the westerly right-of-way line of Hildreth Street North for a distance of one thousand one hundred fifty (1,150) feet to the northerly terminus of Hildreth Street North as laid out in 1961{ thence in a westerly direction at right angles to the last described line for a distance of ninety-five (95) feet to the point.of beginning. The land lying within said right-of-way extension includes fifteen (15) feet along the westerly aide which was formerly owned by Edward S. Hughes described in a Deed dated December 29, 1954 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 1462, Page 49, and the remaining eighty (80) feet on the easterly side was formerly awned by the Pine Tree Realty Co. as described In a Deed dated February 9, 1955 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 1467, Page 55, and was previously dedicated to the City for the future extension of the right-of-way. No per r personsmet atthetime and plat set for the hearing. Since the rightnof-way was previously dedicated to the City by former property owners, and since the City constructed the roadway within the proposed right-of-way extension in 1972 and has maintained said roadway since that time, no damages are recommended as a result of said right- of-way extension. A Plan showing the right-of-way extension entitled "Hildreth Street North Extension, Plan and Profile" dated November 30, 1971, Plan No. H-56, is on file in the office of the City Engineer.
