Item/Subject: OROQ2-Arendinq Chapter I, Article 3, Section 6 of the
Ordinances of the City of Batgox-Council Standing Committees
Responsible Department: City Manager
Commentary:
The attached Ordinance amendment establishes the new committee structure as
previously discussed and generally apprared by the City Council. In general,
six committees are established and the duties of each are outlined with
specific attention given to actions which any committee might take which do
mt require appttmal by the full Council. Please alae rote that there are
several areas, in particular i relationship to that Finance Committee and
the Bass Park Committee, which reonrequire completion by the Council as a whole.
Even thcvgtt this has been discussed at several points in the past, I would
very much appreciate it if each Of you would closely review this Ordinance
amemHaent to insure that it rices reflect your understanding o£ the changes
to be made and also to see if ycvi believe any modifications might be
required now, that you have had a chance to attend various committee
meetings.
