ORDER-Accepting the Donation of Property from Carl Snow

Necessary Action to Accept Such Donation

Commentary:
Carl Snow has offered to donate certain psc��party located near the
I-95 Overpass of Stillwater Avenue. The ps'bperty consists primarily
of wetlands and isadjacent to other wetland and recreational
property owned by the City.
We would recommend that this gift be accepted in order to
preserve this natural wetland area for public areas, use and
enjoyment as a natural area. Control of this Property will insure
public access and may be of as istance i meeting certain technical
requirements of the separationproject on the sewer line which
serves this area.

TB1T the city Manager is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to take all necessary action for
purposes of accepting a deed, in a form approved by the City
Solicitor, conveying title to approximately 17 acres of wetlands
located generally northerly of Stillwater Avenue adjacent to
the bicycle path; and be it further
ORDERED,
THAT said parcel shall be used as a wildlife preserve to
be known as the "Stillwater Gardens Wildlife Preserve."

We have conceived and designed a Substantial modest cost housing subdivision nearby named
Stillwater Gardens. If acceptable to Me City, we would prefer it named the Stillwater Gardens
Wildlife Preserve.
