Sewer Abatement: Quarterly Report Andy Rudzinski outlined and provided comparisons of the final quarterly report for 2017 with the previous year. Vote: Informational, No Vote Necessary 2. Update/Presentation: Casella Waste Jim Dunning spoke with the Committee regarding the collection program for calendar year 2017. He noted the Community had a 33 ton or 2.5% increase over the previous year. He explained there would be focus on cleaner recyclables and outlined the impact it would have in future collections. Vote: Informational, No Vote Necessary 3. MDOT Agreement: 21930.02 Union Street Mill & Fill John Theriault stated this was a 50/50 project under the municipal partnership initiative, with the City paying half of the $800,000.00 project cost. The paving project would extend from Hammond Street to Fifteenth Street and was expected to begin in 2019. Vote: Motion made and Seconded for passage. Unanimous 4. Discussion: Park Street Traffic Pattern John updated the Committee on his analysis of the alternate options for the Park Street One Way. After consideration of the traffic counts and various scenarios the City Engineer concluded the temporary Park Street One- Way traffic pattern should be permanently implemented. Councilor Tremble, Sprague, Perry, and Nichols expressed support to keep Park Street One-Way, as is. Vote: Motion made by Councilor Trembley and Seconded by Councilor Davitt for Staff Recommendation. Unanimous Meeting Adjourned. 1
