The purpose of this Ordinance is to control the issuance of special annamineent permits for music, dancing or entertainment in facilities licensed by the State of Maine to sell liquor under 22-M.R:S.A.-§-7g2 28-A M.R.S.A. S 1054. (3) THAT the provisions of Chapter IV, Article 11, Section 3 be amended:to read as follows: Sac..3 Special Amusement Permit Required. No licensee for the sale of liquor to be centennial on his licensed premises shall permit, on such licensed premises located in the City of Bangor, any music, except radio or mechanical device, any dancing or entertainment of any sort unless the licensee shall have first obtained €nam-sAe-S}sy 6eaae}}_a-6§ae}a}_amaaemeas-peam}€ a scecial assessment permit approved by the City Council. -2- (4) THAT the provisions of Chapter IV, Article 11, Section 3, Subsection 3.2 be emended to read as follows: 3.2 Ada£asion Charges. The licensee of a A licensed hotel, Class A restaurant, Class A tavern or restaurant malt liquor licensee, as defined in Title 28 28-A of the Heine Revised Statutes, who has been issued a special amusement permit may charge admission in designated areas{ provided, however, such areae must be so designated in the application and approved by the City Council.
