The "BSA % O al Proms ty Maintenauce 1990" £s adopted in its published form as is fully set forth herein except as follows: (1) Sect£on PM -100.1 is deleted and replaced with the follauing: PM -100.1 Title: These regulatimss shall be known as the Property Maintenance Crode Of the City Of Bngor and are herein referred to as such or as "this code." (2) Section PH-106.6 is amended by the addition of the following sentence: For the purpose of this Section, the terminology "sell, transfer, mortgage, lease or otherwise dispose of shall include the execution of a land sales contract or similar agreement. (3) Section PM-109.2 in deleted and replaced with the following: PM-109.2 Penalty: Penalties for violations of this Ordinance shall be imposed in accordance with 30-A H.R.B.A. S 4452. Each day such a violation is pe ran tied t0 exist, after notification by the Code Enforcement Officer, shall constitute a separate offense. (4) Sections PM-111.1, PH-111.2, PN-111.2.1, PM-111.2.2, PH-111.2.3 and PH-111.3 are deleted and replaced with the following: PH-111.1 Appeals: My person affected by any notice which has been issued in connection with the enforcement of any provision Of this code may request and shall be granted a hearing on the matter before the "Hangar Board of Appeals," established under Chapter Ix, Section 2(11) of City of Bangor. (5) The definition of "Cade official" contained in Section PM-201.0 is deleted and replaced with the fallowing: Cade Official: The Director of Code Enforcement and Fire Prevention of the City of Hangar. (6) Section PH-302.12 is deleted and replaced with the fallowing: PH-302.12 Insect Screens: During the period from April 1 to November 1 every door, window and other usable outside Opening used or required for ventilation purposes servicing any building containing habitable range food preparation areas, food service areas, any areas where products used in food for human consumption are processed manufactured, packaged or stored, shall be supplied with approved tightly fitting screens of not less than 16 mesh per inch and eery swinging door shall have a self-closing device in good working condition. Excepti : Screen doors shall not be required for out-swinging doors or other types Of openings which marks screening reening impractical, provided other approved means, such as air curtains or insect repellent face are employed. (y) Section PM-303.6 is deleted and replaced with the fallowing: PH -303.6 Insect and Rodent COntrpl: Every owner of a structure or property shall be responsible for the extermination of insects, rodents, vermin, or other pests in all areas of the premises, except that the occupant shall be responsible for such extermination in all areas of the premises Of a single-family dwelling. (8) Section PM -601.1 is deleted and replaced with the following: PM -601.1 Aeaidevtial Bnildinps: Every dwelling mit and guest room shall be provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a room temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit at a distance of 3 feet from the exterior walls and 5 feet above the floor level at an outside temperature of -20 degrees Fahrenheit. (9) Section PM -601.2 is deleted and replaced with the following: PM -601.2 Nonresidential structures: Every enclosed occupied work apace shall be supplied with sufficient heat during the period from October 1 to May 15 to maintain a temperature of not less than 65 degrees F. (18 degrees C.) during all working hours. The temperature shall be measured at a point 3 feet (914 pun) above the floor and 3 feet (914 xm) tram the exterior walls. Exceptions 1. Processing, storage and operation areas that require cooling or special temperature conditions. 2. Areae in which persona are primarily engaged in vigorous physical activities. (10) Section PM -802.2 is deleted.
