Dear Bob
You and I talked a couple of weeks ago about Lot #26 on the easterly
side of Thornton Road, which was abandoned by City Council vote taken
on February 25, 1974. I found a copy of the City Council Order
abandoning Lot #26. This was recorded in volume 2513, Page 265, and
I enclose a copy of it for your records.
My client,. Donna M. Duren, is the successor ininterest to the late
Charles and Sylvia Clark, who were the owners of Lot #25 just
southerly of Lot #26.
What I would like to have the City consider doing is to give a
release deed to Donna M. Duren releasing its interest unto Donna M.
Duren for the southerly half of Lot #26. I propose the following
legal description:
/a certain lot or parcel of land situate in Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the easterly side of Thornton Road
at a point marking the northwesterly corner of Lot #25 a
shown on Plan Book 20, Page 84; thence proceeding in a general
northerly direction along the easterly side of Thornton Road
a distance of thirty (30) feet; thence proceeding in a general
easterly direction at all times parallel to the northerly
side of Lot #25 a distance of one hundred (100) feet to a
point on the easterly sideline of cot #26; thence proceeding in

sideline of Lot #26 a distance of thirty (30) feet to a point
