ORDERED,
THAT WHEREAS, the preliminary design of the proposed upgrade of the
Wastewater Treatment Plant to provide secondary treatment has been completed by
CM-HIU, consulting engineers, under a contract dated January 24, 1990; and
HHERELS,.the project schedule requires the immediate start of the final
design in order to meet the required deadlines for completion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED THATJItheCClry Manager, acting for and on
behalf of the Municipal Officers be and hereby is authorized to sign an amendment
to the contract with CH2M-HILL, for. final Itowdign services, a copy of Said
amendment being on flle,in the office of the City Clerk. '

Addendum to the Agreement between CHM Hill Southeast, Inc. (the Engineer)
and the City of Bangor. Maine (the Pani) dated 24January1990 for a project
generally described as "Primary Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade"
Attachment A Scope of Services will be amended as follows.
Phase II Final Design
Task I Preparation of Plans and Specifications
It is agreed that the scope of the design work will be as generally
described in the report 'Preliminary Design Secondary Treatment" prepared by
CHM Hill. Based upon the facilities described in the report, the attached
Drawing List farms the new scope of final design. The "Assumed Facilities List'
page 15 attached to the January 24. 1990 agreement is deleted and the Drawing
List starting on page 18 Is deleted.
Activity Schedule Page 31 of the AGREEMENT is amended as follows:
Phase II Final Design will be completed by July 20, 1990 for submittal
to the regulatory agencies.
Phase II -Final Design Basis of Payment page 33 shall be replaced by the
following new Basis of Payment:

of Bangor based on the preliminary design report as mind by Value Engincering and
