The City Clerk's office on March 15, 1990 received an initiative petition
signed by the ten registered voters of the City of Bangor.
The Clerk's office prepared a sufficient amount of petition forms to be
circulated and signed by the registered voters of the City Of Bangor On
April 24, 1990. Petitions were returned to the. Clerk's Office with a
total Of 793 signatures. On April 25, 1990 I officially accepted and filed
a total of 722 signatures as being registered voters in the City of. Bangor.
The Bangor City Charter calls for a total of 500 signatures of registered
voters be received for an initiative or referendum. Question to be placed
on the ballot as a regular Or special City Of Bangor Election.
