This fee should cover most of the activities of the Eastern sla1ne Development District and the Committee to Analtze PERC, however, there is no guarantee that this will provide sufficient fundings to examine and to Implement all of the modifications which any be necessary to our solid waste disposal activities. Waste Administrative Pee to the Penobscot Valley Refuse Disposal District for FY'91 By the City Of at My a%Bmayer: THAT WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized the payment of $2.00 per ton of solid waste delivered to the PEEC facility as an adminis- trative fee to be paid to the Penobscot Valley Refuse Disposal District for the administration of solid waste activities, including the a,rvices.of the Eastern Maine Development Corp. and the Committee to Analyze DIED, said administrative fee having become effective on April 1, 1989; and WEEREAS, it is apparent that the continuation of said administrative fees Will be necessary to cover the ongoing administration of solid waste related activities, including activities related to the renegotiation of the PERE contract, the monitoring of legislative action pertaining to solid waste: and the search for alternative solid waste disposal methods. NOW THEREFORE, BE 1T ORDERED, THAT the payment of said $2.00 per ton administrative fee be continued for the remainder of FY'90 and for PY'91. 90-168 ORDER IN CITY COUNCIL April 23, 1990 Title, Passed.
