Item/Subject: Authorizing the Continued Payment of Solid Waste Administrative Fee
to the Penobscot Valley Refuse Disposal District for FV'91
Responsible Department: Engineering Department
Commentary:
A $2.00 per ton
administrative charge w adopted in April 1989,. to be in..
affect n
for one , this order would continue the $2.00 charge for the
reminder of this fiscal year, and would continue .the charge for fiscal -
year 1991, through June 30th[ 1991.
This fee should cover most of the activities of the Eastern sla1ne Development
District and the Committee to Analtze PERC, however, there is no guarantee
that this will provide sufficient fundings to examine and to Implement all
of the modifications which any be necessary to our solid waste disposal
activities.
It should be noted that the $2.00 is presently Included in our tipping fee,
o that this in not an additional charge to the $19.00 per ton authorized
by the Interim Tipping Fee Agreements
