It is proposed that a. -City contract with National Garages be executed
for management services at Abbott Square Perking Lot. National Garages will
be responsible for hiring personnel and day-to-day operations including
bwkkeeping. The management fee is $2110 per year. The operational budget
for the lot (which in in addition to the management fee) and parking fees are
Subject to City Council approval.
National Garages currently operates Pickering Square Garage with a
aimilar contract. The Municipal Operations Committee rec®ended approval.

ORDERED,
TWT the City Manager shall be and hereby is authorized to
enter into an agreement with National Garages Incorporated for parking
lot Management Services at Abbott Square Parking Lot.
STATEMENT OF FACT:
National. Garages is currently managing the. Pickering Square
Garage. The proposed contract would extend their responsibility to
include the Abbott Square Lot.

Inc. calla an operating budget to be approved by the City of

The proposed budget includes a time frame of August 16, 1990 to
June 30, 1991 and includes the $200 per month management fee. Staff
recommends that the Council approve the operating schedule and
operating _ budget for the purpose of attaching to the management
contract.
