HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-03-26 90-133 RESOLVEI tourist Action Data 3-26 90 Item No. 90-133 Item/SubjesD Approval of Resolution of Condemnation for Property Located Within the Area Adjoining Main Street Responsible Department: Legal Commentary: This Resolve is the final Council action required under 3D -A M.R.S.A.. 5 5204 to complete acquisition of remaining ing outstanding interests in the B-4 development parcel. Copies of this Resolve and Council Resolve 90-33 will be recorded at the Penobscot Registry in accordance with § 5204(2)(A). An additional copy of the two Resolves and the Council's "Statement of Just Compensation" will be filed with the Superior Court, a required under § 5204(2)(8). The taking will be .complete uponnoticeto the property owners and publication of the various resolves for a period of three consecutive weeks following the Registry and Superior Court filings, in accordance with § 5204(2)(C). These actions together will clear the City's title to a 327 square foot piece at the rear of the B-4 parcel, which the Council will then need to convey to the Downtown Development Group, completing the City's title obligation to DDG on this project.
