Passage of this order will authorize us to proceed with the Sever extension and the acquisition of the necessary easerawnt after receiving payment of the estimated coat from the Bangor Housing Authority. The request for the sewer e extension was received from the Bangor Housing Authority, who proposed to developa 25 unit,bousingprojec n land located north of the Capehart area. and on the westerly aide of Ohio Street. Since the public sewer a presently terminates on private property, the extension i required to provide service to the proposed Bangor Housing Authority project. The proposed a extension would require the installation of 100 feet of8 Inch: pipe and a manhole, manhole to be located on the property line between the Capehart housing area and the property named by the Bangor Meaning Authority. The total estimated cost of the sewer extension, Including the acquisition of a easement from e the o of the private property, Is $7,000.00, which would be paid by the Bangor Housing Authority, who have agreed to pay fbe the cost of the sewer extension. It is recommended that the sewer be extended as described above, and that the City Engineer be authorized to obtain an easement from the private property o utilizing the process of eminent domain under the provisions of 30-A MRSA Sec 3402..1£ necessary.
