- Acceptance of Kira Drive and
Vance Avenue as public mays.
Responsible Departments Engineering Department
Commentary: This order completes the process
of accepting Kira Drive and Vance
Avenue, in the Mt. Rope: Estates Subdivision
on Mt. Rope Avenue, as public ways.
These streets have previously been constructed to ceptable City standards,
and this Council Order is ready for passage.
The City Engineers report and the
deed from Vance Aloupis for the right-of-ways
will be recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds.

and establishment of Kira Drive and Vence Avenue as public ways, be and hereby
is accepted; and be it further
ORDERED, THAT said streets be accepted as public ways, and so noted on the
Official Cipy Map.

Beginning at a point on the northerly right-of-way line of Mt. Hope Avenue, said

along said westerly right-of-way line for a distance of 340.24 feet to a point, being

point of beginning being at the intersection of the southerly right-of-way line of
Vane Avenue; thence South 80° 38' East along said southerly right-of-way line of
Vance Avenue a distance of 191.70 feet to a point, being the point of curvature of a
curve to the left having a radius of 70 feet; thence along said curve for a distance
of 109.95 feet to a point of tangency, being the easterly right -of -may line of
Vance Avenue; thence North 9° 22' East along said aaexly line of Vance Avenue for
a distance of 206.90 feet to a point, being a point of tangency of ave to the
right having a radius of 30 feet; thence along said curve for a distance of 24.38 feet
to a point of curvature of a compound curve to the left having a radius of 50 feet,

Meaning and intending to describe a 50 foot wide xlght-of-way att
ending easterly,
and thence northerly from the easterly right-ofway line of Kira Drive to alos-foot
diameter cul-de-sac.
Me above described right-of-ways are more fully shown on a plan prepared by
Andrew J. Shy", L. S.. entitled "Final plan of Mt. Hope Estates, Bangor, Maine,"
and recorded on December 29,1987 in the Penobscot Registry of Beads, Map File D-155-87.
Ho person or persons appeared at the time and place met for the meeting. Me above
described right-of-wayswere cnstructed to acceptable City standards by Vance A.
Aloupie, the developer of the Mt. Hope Estates Subdivision, with the understaMing
that they would be accepted as public waysas soon aconstruction wascompleted.
Accordingly, it is recommended that said Kira Drive and Vance Avenue bestablished
And accepted as public ways, and so noted on the Official City Map. It is further
recommended that no damages be awarded for the establishment of said right-of-ways,
since they represent a dedication by the developer asshown on the final subdivision
plan Lt is further recommended that no benefits be assessed as a result of said
laying out.
