As a alternative. they have requested that the City improve the right-of-way by installing a drainage System to prevent the occasional flooding of their property, and that trees be planted to provide a suitable buffer between their property and Garland Street Field. Since the right-ofway serves no useful purpose to the City. and since it has actually been legally discontinued by the failure of the City to maintain it as a public way. and whereas a diacont Incomes will cult in the reversion of one-half of the right-of-way to the Garland Street Field property with the remainder to revert to the abutting property a s , it i ended that the completion of the formal discontinuanceis the most practical way to remove the Enfield Street right-of-way from the Officlal City Map as an unaccepted street. mepmnas _v - Manager's Manager's Comments: %#fs 4P9 lmr rrv")ed yJ 6Y li (egii on 617 -til 44 Associated Information: nh/ Budget Approval: N/A«Vara Legal Approval City SoGc;mr Introduced For pauses First Reading page _of_ ❑Refeval 91-261 AeeignW to Cousdor Bragg.
