Re: Whitley Foundation
Dear Mr. McKenna:
As you know the Whitley Foundation was created for the
purpose of providing care for a "dumb'a mals. Your office
has brought to the Foundation's attention the obvious need for a
dog run to alleviate crowded and unsanitary conditions prevalent
at the City's mal shelter. in response to the Foundation's
request, your offices procured estimates for construction of both
10 and 18 dog runs.
The Board of Directors has voted to defray the cost of
construction of 18 runs. When construction is effected please
send the bill to my attention and the Foundation will authorize
payment in the amount stated in the estimate to the service
provider. As I indicated,. the Foundation does not consider the
dog runs to be its property or duty to maintain.
Please advise if you need future information.
Yours very truly,
r
