Commentary: _
The purpose of this Order is to release any interest the City may
have in properties located at 9 and 16 Center Street Avenue as
described in the Order and Deed by virtue of undischarged municipal
tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry, of Deeds for the years
1989 and 1990. A foreclosure auction of both properties was held
by Fleet BanIc on Monday March 2, 1992. The successful bidder, The
Together Place, purchased both properties for $40,000. The
Together Place paid all of the outstanding taxes assessed against
theae properties on Thursday, March 5th. They have requested that
Ute Bangor City Council approve the issuance of a quitclaim dead
under, suspension of the rules on March 9, 1992, because the City's
own notice of impending foreclosure to Fleet Bank will otherwise
expire on March 10, 1992.

authorized and directed, on behalf of the. City of Bangor, to
execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed, a copy of which is on file
in the office of the City Clerk, releasing any interest the City
may have to real estate located at 9 and 16 Center Street Avenue
in said Bangor by virtue of undischarged tax liens recorded in
the Penobscot Registry of Deeds for the years 1989 and 1990.
Said deed shall be directed to. The Together Place, successor in

MDNICIPAL OOITCLAIM DEED
TheCITYOF BANGOR, a body corporate, located at Bangor, County
of Penobscot, State of Maine, for consideration paid, releases to The
Together Place, successor in title. t0 BECJAN, INC., of Bangor,
Penobscot County, State of Maine, all its right, title and interest
in and to certain property located in said Bangor and more
Particularly described as follows:.
Parcel No. 1:
Real estate located at 9 Center Street Avenue in said
Bangor, and further described in a deed recorded in
volume 3785, Page 353, Penobscot Registry of Deeds..
Being the same premises acquired by said City of Bangor
(by John G. Field, Deputy Finance Director) for unpaid
taxes assessed for the years 1989 and 1998 by virtue of
undischarged tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry
of Deeds in volume 4442, Page 188 and volume 4647, Page
288.
Parcel No. 2;
Real estate located at 16 Center Street Avenue in said
Bangor, and further described in a deed recorded i
volume 3785, Page 355, Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
Being the same premises acquired by said City of Bangor
(by John G. Field, Deputy Finance Director) for unpaid
taxes assessed for the years 1989 and 1990 by virtue of
undischarged tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry
of Deeds in volume 4442, Page 1B7 and Volume 4647, Page
287.
The purpose of this deed is to release any interest the City may
have in the above-described properties by virtue of unpaid taxes
assessed for the tax years 1989 and 1990.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed
with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by JOBN
QBARTARARO, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorised, this
day of March, 1992.
