Shortly after that tlme, a Quitclaim Deed was issued. However, that deed was apparently lost and never recorded in the Registry of Deeds. The purpose of this Order is to authorise the execution of a replacement deed for the tax lien recorded in the Registry at Volume 2273, Page 7. The undischarged tax lien was picked up by a local law firm while doing a title examination on the property in question. Thomas Hicks, City Treasurer, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal quitclaim Deed, a copy of said deed being on file in the office of the City Clerk, releasing any interest the City may have in the real estate located at 64 Dunning Boulevard by virtue of an undischarged municipal tax lien recorded against the above-described property for the tax year 1971 in Volume 2273, Page 7, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said Deed shall be directed to Forrest H. Grant, successor in title to Peter and Lillian L. Schwartz. Ceuncilman MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Maine and located at Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, for consideration paid, releases to FORREST H. GRANT, of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as successor in title to Peter and Lillian L. Schwartz, the land in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, together with the buildings thereon, described as follows: A lot or parcel of land located at North Dunning Boulevard in said Bangor, and further described in volume 1948, Page 385, Penobscot Registry of Deeds, to which deed reference may be had. Being the same premises acquired by said City of Bangor (by John G. Field, Deputy Finance Director) for unpaid taxes assessed for the tax year 1971 by virtue of an undischarged municipal tax lien recorded in volume 2273, Page 7, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. The purpose of this deed is to replace a prior municipal Quitclaim Deed issued by the City of Bangor to the present Grantee's predecessors in title on or about October 27, 1977, said prior Municipal Quitclaim Deed being unrecorded and apparently lost. The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal, and signed inits corporate name by J.
