Council Order 93-437 passed an September 27, 1993. That Order and
the associated deed contained errors based on incorrect information
furnished by Fleet's counsel. The attached municipal quitclaim
deed corrects the earlier errors. execution of a deed to 594
Summand Street also was previously authorized by the Council, by
Council Order 93-20 Passed November 23, 1992. A recent title
search in connection with Fleet Bank's proposed sale, however,
found an earlier undischarged tax lien on record at the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. In addition, it appears that a deed executed
per Council Order 93-20, although mailed to the Penobscot Registry
of needs on November 23, 1992, was never recorded.
