Item/subject: Naval Reserve Building
Responsible Department: Parks 6 Recreation
Commentary:
The City is anticipating that the U. B. Navy; will turn over the
Naval Reserve property on Essex street. Althoughthis might be a
lengthy process, there is a possibility that this could happen in the
immediate future, or at least a no -cost lease might be negotiated
until final disposition of the property. This would allow Parks a
Recreation to move into and heat the facility so that it will not
further deteriorate.
