Item No. 93-600
Date Aucuat 29, 1993
Item/Subject: Authorizing execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate Located at 173 Third Street
Responsible Department: Legal
Through a routine real estate check, the reporting service for Rey
Bank of Portland has diecuveced an error in a discharge document
concerning property located at 193 Third Street, currently owned by
Vera M. Thibeau. The document which was recorded to discharge a
1980 tax lien against the property at issue contained an erroneous
volume and page citation of the tax lien. The correct volume and
page has been determined, and this Quitclaim Deed is necessary to
clear the record at the Registry of Deeds. Inasmuch as this was
the City's error, no administrative fee will be charged for the
issuance of this deed.
