The City Solicitor's office, a ong other legal publications, urrently has a full set of Maine reporters and Maine uncodified statutes dating back to 1020. These combined publications constitute a complete set of all published Law Court decisions and statutes enacted by the Legislature since ceation of the State of Maine. The Maine Reporter series prior to 1920 and uncodified statutes prior to 1917 are original leather-bound volumes, s of e which a a deteriorating condition. The City's Legal Dept• does notcurrently use either the early reporter series or the uncodified statutes frequently enough to justify maintenance of these volumes in the City Solicitor's office.
