Item No.
Date December 14, 3992
Item/Subject: Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate Located at E1 Court Street
Responsible Department: Legal
The purpose of this Order is to release any Interest the City may
have in the real estate described in the Order by virtue of
undischarged municipal tax liens on record in the Penobscot
Registry of foods for the years 1967 and 1968. The tax liens in
question were paid in full in 1970. However, the Quitclaim Deed
given to Ms. Irvine on August 6, 1970 was apparently lost and never
recorded in the Registry of Deeds. The purpose Of this Deed is to
replace that deed. The tax account is current on this property,
and the taxpayers have paid the $50 administrative fee.
