Barrett, City Manager From: James D. Ring, City Engineer Subject: Funding for Repair of Kenduskeag Stream Retaining Wall as you know, it is necessary to repair a portion of the concrete crib retaining wall located onthe westerly side of Kenduekeag Stream northerly of Franklin Street. This repair is critical to preserve the integrity of the Kenduekeag Interceptor Sewer. Although some preliminary work has already been done, we do not have sufficient funding in sewer maintenance to complete the project. The estimated cost to do this work is $55.000. I would suggest that funds be transferred from the Arctic Brook Sewer Project, Phase II. Account Ns. 80-82-10-95 (Construction) to fund this work. We anticipate an underrun on Arctic Brook in the amount of $75,000 to $80,000 so this should present `nooproblem. J.D.R.
