Item No. 94-346
I%emlSubjeM Authorizing Execution of Easement Agreement with Bangor Hydro -
Electric Co. - Hubbard Street
Fesponsible Departmenc Engineering
The attached Council Order authorizes the City Manager to execute a
utility easement agra ent giving Bangor Hydro -Electric Co. the right
o install anw electrical line on the southwesterly < of Baas
Park property immediately adjacent to the Hubbard Street right-of-way.
This location is necessitated by the fact that the travelled way in
Hubbard Street runs
very close to the northwesterly right-of-way line
and in order to make proper alignments with the existing utility lines
on March Street and Catell Street. The easement
n
ment consists of a 30 -foot
vide a approximately 130 feet loan. IHave spoken to Hike Oyer
regarding this proposed easement and he has no problems with it.
Attached is a copy of the proposed easement agreement, together with
a map showing the location.

Dear Jim
Bangor Hydro received a voltage complaint on Catell Street
in Bangor. Upon further inspection, one of our service planners
has found it necessary to rebuild part of the line. Thia rebuild
presents the need for a pushbrace support pole and pole, anchor
and wires easement on land.owned by the City of Bangor
northwesterly of march and Bubbard Streets and running
southwesterly to Catell Street. I spoke with Art in your office
and we determined that the access road off Hubbard Street to the
back side of Hass Park is not a peddle Street.
I have enclosed an easement for your inspection. If this
meets with the city's approval, please return the properly
executed easement to me in the enclosed self-addressed envelope.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call
me at 973-2578. Thank you again for your time and cooperation.
Sincerely,
