While in litigation, neither side paid taxes at fees. Ms. Clysdale ultimately prevailed. The Finance Committee authorized the substitution of a mortgage for the outstanding taxes and sewer fees, with the requirement that such amounts be paidwhen Ms. Clyadale sold her home. Ernest J. Guimond, Jr. has offered to buy the property and has paid all outstanding taxes, sewer bills and the $70 quitclaim fee. The closing took place priortothe June 27th Council Meeting and this Used was to be held in escrow by Phil Clarke, Esq. for recording after theclosing. Thomas Hicks, City Treasurer, in executing a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest of the City ofBangor in real estate located at 20 Somerset Street in the City of Bangor to Ernest J. Guimond, Jr., successor in title to Vivian B. Clysdals, is hereby ratified and affirmed. A copy of said Municipal Quitclaim Deed is attached to this Order, and is incorporated herein by reference. IN CITY COUCIL 94-�90 Tuve 27, 1994 O R D E R Passed Flue, .�. um n ff a to council n MUNICIPAL OUITCLAIM DEED The CITY OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, for consideration paid, releases to ERNEST J. GUIMOND, JR., successor in title to Vivian B. Clysdale, of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, the property located in said Bangor and more particularly described as follows: Real estate located at 20 Somerset Street in said Bangor, and further described by Warranty Need recorded in Book 5452, Page 222, Penobscot Registry of Needs. This is further designated as account number 58851. Being the same premises acquired by said City of Bangor for unpaid taxes assessed for the years 1990 through 1993 by virtue of undischarged tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Needs in Book 4648, Page 292; Book 4839, Page 41; Book 5100, Page 240; and Book 5343, Page 155. The City also acquired an interest in this property by virtue of a Mortgage, dated March 22, 1994, given by Vivian B. Clysdale to the City of Bangor and recorded at Book 5592, Page 164, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. The purpose of this deed is to release to any interest the City may have in the above described property by virtue of unpaid taxes assessed for the tax years 1990 to 1994, as well as all unpaid sewer user fees. This deed also discharges the above -referenced Mortgage. All public easements or Other public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved. The said. CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument t0 be sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by J.
