The proposed amendments contained in C.O. k 90-29 are rtiof- fered as a result of a amendment to State Statutes passed by the last session of the legislature. This statute man- dates that mpbilehome parks be defined i certain way (it is a place for placement of three or more mobilehomes); and that there be nominimum srall let size for mpbilehome parks; and that minimumlets mpbilehome park be n less than the m n Minimum lot sized other residential dis- tricts in the community's zoning Ordinance nor any more than 6500 sq, ft. I. The amendments before you change Article 3 to define mobile - home park as a place where three or more mobilehomes a ee Flocated; amend Article 5 to eliminate the minimum let a rea ;of 25 acres to conform to State Statute; and amend Articles `9 and 10to make minimum lot s n the R-4 and R-3 Zone 6500 sq. ft. instead of 61000 sq. ft. (This would permit the minimum lot size for a mobilehome space in the mpbilehome park Ordinance to be 6300 sq. ft.) C. The city really has little choice but to amend its ordinanc- es )s in this way at thitime and Staff would recommend that the Planning Board recommend the amendments contained in C.O. k90-29 to the City Council.
