Commentary:
After fifteen yeas the Department of Bumm Services is requesting proposals
for all grants that exceed $50,0007year. The Immunisation Grant is the first
of the programs administered by the City of Bangor to fall under the new
policy.
The purpose of the Immunization Program is to coordinate and facilitate
childhood immunization a
cation £or vaccine-preventable entable diseases and adult flu
and Hepatitis B. Last yearegrant w for $79,700. This year we will
be dividing the function of the program into two components -as was
-
done in 1993 -- Field Repreaentative Services and Nursing Services.

a grant
application to the State of Maine, Department of Human services, Bureau
of Health for continuation of the Immunization Program. The grant and
project will be administered by the City of Bangor Department of Health
and welfare.
