Mr. Edward Barrett

Bangor, ME 04401
Tear Mr. Barrett:
In September 1988 1 gut forth a proposal to raise taxi fares for the
first time innine years. The old rate was $.95 for the first 2/5 mile
and S.20 for each additional 1/5 and waiting time of $.lo a minute after
the first 3 1/2 minutes.
The new rate was to be $.95 for the first 1/6 mile and $.20 for each 1/6
of a mile and waiting time of $.20 a minute after the first 2 minutes.
Some how the new change in waiting time was not put into the ordinance.
My company and every other taxi company in Bangor us the $.20 a minute
