HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-07-10 95-311 ORDERCOUNCIL ACTION Item No. 95-311 Date July 10, 1995 Item/Subject: Authorizing Execution of Municipal quitclaim Deed -- Mobile Home Located at 999 Essex Street (Lot #S) Responsible Department: Legal Commentary: The purpose of this Order is to release any interest the City may have in the mobile home described in the Order by virtue Of an undischarged municipal tax lien on record in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds for the year 1989 against property currently owned by Michael Hall. The taxes in question were paid in 1991, along with the 1990 and 1991 real estate taxes, but apparently not discharged at the time. The account is current with the exception of the FY 1995 taxes. Councilman The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located i Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to MICHAEL HALL, as Grantee, the land located i Bangor, Penobscot County. Maine, more particularly described as follows: Mobile home located at 999 Essex Street (Lot #5 n Holiday Park) in aid Bangor, and described s follows: 1994 14x70 Titan Model #3505. Designated as City Real Estate Account Number 84090. Being the same premises acquired by said City of Bangor (by Sohn G. Field, Collector of Taxes) for unpaid taxes assessed for tax year 1989 by virtue of an undischarged tax lien recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Book 4442, Page 353. The purpose of this deed is to release any interest the City may have in the above described property by virtue of unpaid taxes assessed for the tax year 1989. All other mortgages, public easements or other public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved. The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH CYR, Acting Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this day of July, 1995.
