Bolduc, Brecut Manager Date: April 10, 1995 iiii//----11, Subject: Purchase and sale agreement with Kurt & Karen Thomas, KK Motor Sports Issue Kurt & Karen Thomas, KK Motor Sports, have made an offer to purchase int 112 in the BaNur industrial Park on Outer Hammond St. for $18,300. Background Mr. Thomas is the owner of KK Motor Sports, Millinocket, a franchised dealer in Honda And other brands of recreational vehicles. He is proposing to construct a 6,000 sq. ft. building on lot 112 for a facility to sell and service recreational vehicles such as motor cycles and snowmobiles. The dealership is projected to employ 4 - 5 people. Lot 112 is .76 acres with 170' of frontage on BanAir Rd. The offer is the same as the asking price of $18,300. The City of Bangor is represented by Don Buffington, Town & Country Realtors, who is due a commission of 5% at closing to be paid by the City. Rec®endaticn Staff recommends that the offer be accepted because: 1. The offer is 100% of the listed sale price of the lot. 2. The proposed project will be a significantly sized development on the lot. A 6,000 sq. ft. building with set -backs and parking provides for some expansion of the building while developing a large percentage of the lot.
