This bodyis responsible forthemonitoringand oversight of PERC and disposal tipping fees. The purpose and responsibilities of the MRC are described in the First Amended and Restated Waste Disposal Agreement Each Charter Municipality is allocated votes proportional to its guaranteed armual tonnage, one vote per 100 tons of guaranteed waste, with one vote allocated to communities with las than 100 tom. Each municipality must cast all of its allocated votes for a single candidate. The four individuals that receive the most votes Will be elected to the MRC Board for three seats for three year tams, and one seat for a one year term. The MRC will hold its annual meeting on Monday, December 12, 1994. Please return the voting ballot by December 7, 1994 so that there is sufficient time to tally the results prior to the annual meeting.
