MEETING MINUTES

Committee Chair opened the meeting at
Item 1 . Golf Course Rates .
Ed Barrett presented a revised proposal of rates, which included keeping
weekday and senior rates unchanged and increasing weekend rates by $1. 00 .
He also discussed issues regarding membership structure, including the
alternative of a new structure which would be based on a flat annual fee
plus a discounted per round charge and the matter of the course being
near capacity for usage. Mr. Barrett recommended that committee members
consider these issues in the future. Dale Theriault discussed renovation
plans, which include making repairs to the maintenance building, adding a
watering system to the new 18-hole course, and finishing cart paths .
(Chairman Leen arrived) Questions and comments were then taken from the
public . David Leen moved to accept the original rate proposal; seconded
by Tim Woodcock. Pat Blanchette voted against.
Item 2 . Review of Police Department Policies
Chief Harriman explained the review procedure, which included informing
the public and soliciting comments on certain police policies . Tim
Woodcock expressed some concern over the very detailed nature of the
policies .
Item 3 . Hayford Park - Proposed Gift of Land from Stephen King
Pat Blanchette moved to accept the gift; seconded by David Leen.
Approved.
Item 4 . Sewer Abatement Request
MIL Pat Blanchette explained that the owners had made a conscious effort to
correct the problem. Brad Moore confirmed that this case is in line with
others that have been approved. Pat Blanchette moved to approve the
abatement; David Leen seconded. Approved.
